Crochet cupcakes are a girl's best friend

It should be pretty obvious by now just exactly how much I love sweet things. (So much so that it's an integral part of my blog title!)

Well, a couple of years ago I got Twinkie Chan's book "Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies" and I crocheted three cupcake scarves for my friends (you can read about them here: Twinkie Chan Scarves!) After I finished theirs, I started making my own, but never finished it. For almost two whole years it sat in my stash.

I was only one cupcake and cherry away from having the right amount. I even started sewing them together, but for some reason I just gave up.Weird. (It's actually not that weird for me. I do it all the time. I'm a procraftinator. I procrastinate by crafting and procrastinate doing my crafting that needs done.)

Well, better late than never right? I finished this pretty in two nights and I'm very happy with it! (And it fits in perfectly with my blog decor! lol)

What kind of sweet (or food) would you love to see as a crochet/knit scarf or other kind of accessory?

You remember my Toast Scarf, right?
Well, I've been busy hooking up some other crochet food-inspired goodies from the same book for some friends recently, and I just thought I would share them with ya'll!

It's been a lot of fun making these awesome food-inspired scarves. If you love crochet (or food) or know someone who does, please check out Twinkie Chan's book! There's plenty more to choose from.

 Thanks for reading

p.s. Sorry I've been absent. I've been really stressed lately. It's pretty much crunch time for everything in my life, and I feel like I'm stretching myself really thin. Maybe that's just because I'm so used to spending most of my days being lazy and now compared to that, I have very little free time. Who knows, I just want to be home with my Marine again.

Again, it's not my own pattern, and it was actually really simple to make!

Last night I also made black bean and spinach lasagna! It was sooo delicious! :)
Well, you might not think it looks that delicious, but just trust me, it was!
The recipe can be found here
The recipe isn't mine, I just found it on the internet. Thanks for looking!

I made bread today! :D

Soon this cute little loaf will go on to become a toast scarf! I'm so proud :)

April Sprinkles: I made toast!

Haha, but in all seriousness, this is what I've been working on. I crocheted all the slices yesterday and then added the crust today! Hopefully I will make all the butter squares tonight, and finish this baby by Friday!

The pattern is from Twinkie Chan's book which you can find on Amazon
